A Shot List for Machines

Prompting is not photography. Prompting is casting. The photography starts when you decide where the light comes from and why the subject is standing there at all.

My process is boring on purpose: reference frames first, lens language second, generation third, and then the part everyone skips — an edit pass where I treat the output like raw footage that owes me nothing.

Grade it. Crop it. Kill the frames that only impressed you because a machine made them. Taste is still the whole job.
